Pedal for purpose

Corporate teams and community groups, get ready to pedal for purpose at the 2026 PCYC NSW Spin Cycle Challenge, an unforgettable endurance event raising funds for the life-changing Fit for Life program.

Held at Sydney’s Macquarie Group Building on October 23, this high-energy six-hour team challenge combines stationary spin bikes, dynamic instructors, live entertainment, prizes up for grabs, and a shared mission to support young people across NSW.

Fit for Life is designed to give participants aged 10 to 17 a powerful start to the day, with mentorship from PCYC staff and NSW Police, physical fitness, a nutritious breakfast, and safe transport straight to school – encouraging positive community connections and educational engagement.

Wilson Security was among the first to sign up for the challenge. State Manager NSW/ACT Darren Eurlings said, “Wilson Security’s partnership with PCYC is about giving back to the communities where many of our people live and work. With a large percentage of our security workforce living in Western and South Western Sydney, supporting PCYC helps us invest directly in local youth and community programs that make a real difference.”

“The 2025 PCYC Spin Cycle Challenge was a great example of this partnership in action. Beyond the fundraising, the event provided an outstanding team building opportunity, bringing together office staff and our Leadership team in a shared challenge that fostered camaraderie and strengthened relationships.”

Participant 11-year-old Harland has found a community in Fit for Life, “I make a lot of friends, stay healthy, and it makes me energetic and excited to go to school.”

“I feel like I belong at PCYC, the staff are really funny and motivate us a lot, they cook us breakfast and coach us in basketball and boxing. I’ve developed more skills since I joined the program.”

Team registration costs $700, including a $500 tax-deductible donation. In addition, each team commits to raising $5,000 to support PCYC NSW’s Fit for Life program.

Together, we’re aiming to raise $120,000 to support 480 young people across NSW in building confidence, healthy habits, life skills and a sense of belonging.

This isn’t just a workout. It’s a movement. Rally your team, register before October 9, get your heart pumping and help us change young lives one kilometre at a time.
