PCYC NSW is a leading provider of community sports and recreation and delivers a range of youth programs to thousands of young people every year. Our reach goes far beyond the people we directly engage and inspire, positively impacting whole families and communities.

SOCIAL RETURN ON INVESTMENT

PCYC’s impact is broad and demonstrated through our Social Return on Investment. Every dollar invested in PCYC generates measurable social value for young people, families, and communities across New South Wales.

High SROI: Independently assessed by KPMG, each $1 invested in PCYC generates $7.76 in economic, health and social benefits for NSW. In 2024 alone, PCYC programs produced a total financial benefit of $196,282,431 for the community and NSW Government in savings.

Reduced reoffending: Youth participating in PCYC programs show a 10% decline in reoffending. Program outcomes see measurable improvements in school attendance, job placement, and reduced contact with the justice system. Each youth diverted from detention or community supervision saves the NSW Government $1,171,686 annually.

Community reach: PCYC operates 54 Club locations in areas classified as ‘Low’ or ‘Moderate’ socio-economic regions, providing vital access to programs for young people who need them most.
