Active Kids vouchers are back at PCYC for 2021

Now is the perfect time to get back into the community and get your kids active, moving and having fun. With the free Active Kids vouchers you can sign up for fun activities without breaking the budget.

You can now claim your Active Kids vouchers and redeem it at an activity at one of PCYC NSW’s 60+ clubs across the state.

Active Kids is a NSW Government program, which helps families across the State meet the cost of getting their children into sport and active fitness and recreation activities, such as those provided by PCYC NSW!


This is the fourth year of Active Kids in NSW and the numbers are impressive.
•    3.1 million vouchers created
•    2.6 million vouchers redeemed  
•    More than $260 million invested into the NSW sport and active recreation sector


Did you know?
•    Data from the NSW Population Health Survey shows that 75 per cent of children in NSW are not meeting the daily-recommended level of physical activity, which is 60 active minutes each day.
•    22% of NSW children aged 5-16 years are reported as being overweight or obese.
•    44% of children spend more than two hours a day on sedentary leisure activities.


New to Active Kids?
For families living in NSW, claiming and redeeming your vouchers at your local PCYC NSW club is easy. Follow the steps below to get started.
1.    Claim your vouchers from Service NSW
2.    Go to the Active Kids provider page and search for your local PCYC club
3.    Use your vouchers when registering for a sport or activity
4.    Start playing!


You can use each voucher towards the registration, participation and membership costs associated with activities at PCYC. It can be applied to after-school and weekend sport activities that run for eight continuous weeks or longer, including gymnastics, boxing, fitness and archery.


Active Kids vouchers at PCYC
Remember, all PCYC NSW clubs are approved providers of the Active Kids program. This NSW Government initiative aims to reduce the barriers to participation and help change the physical activity behaviours of young people in NSW.


PCYC NSW is the state's biggest provider of Active Kids programs and is one of the only organisations that accepts both Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers.


When to use the Active Kids vouchers
Vouchers can only be used once, but each child is eligible for TWO each year. You can use it any time for any eligible PCYC club activity from now until 31 December.  It can be redeemed partially or fully, but remember, it can only be used once.  Voucher 1 is valid from January to December and Voucher 2 is valid from July to December.
