Wellbeing & Leadership
Our Wellbeing & Leadership Pillar is designed to build resilience and confidence in young people. These programs give participants opportunities to grow and develop by providing them with new skills, physical activity, practical experiences, and mentorship.

Designed for 16–18-year-olds, Blue Star develops leadership skills through practical experiences. The program progresses through 3 levels—Bronze, Silver, and Gold – and involves camps, volunteering, and achieving Duke of Edinburgh Awards.
Employability
Through skill development, employer engagement, training and certification, and personalised mentoring, programs within PCYC NSW’s Employability Pillar prepare young people for long-term, meaningful employment and life after school.

This 10-week intensive training course helps young people secure meaningful employment or further education opportunities. Participants learn essential life and work-related skills, and earn certifications such as First Aid and White Card.

This 10-week program supports young people aged 16-21 in transitioning from school to long-term meaningful employment by offering employability training, career exploration, job application support, and ongoing mentorship for up to 12 months.

This 4-day course aims to increase students' chances of securing part-time or casual employment by developing communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and customer service skills, while also offering support in resume writing, interview skills, and workplace safety.
CULTURE & COMMUNITY
Culture & Community Pillar Programs run by PCYC NSW are focused on connecting young people and building their sense of belonging. Education, training and participation are the foundations of these programs that bring young people together and encourage them to understand and embrace their culture and community.

This four day long sporting tournament unites First Nations and non-First Nations young people to celebrate culture through sports, with strong endorsement and support from Elders. The program focuses on Reconciliation, Education, Cultural Identity, and Sport.

This 20-week initiative fosters unity, respect, leadership, and cultural awareness among Pasifika young people in Western Sydney and the Central Coast. Through workshops, activities, and community events it promotes culture, social skills, and mentoring.

The program fosters physical fitness, wellbeing, and personal growth, while promoting prosocial behaviours through mentorship. Additionally, participants are transported to school, ensuring they start their day positively.

U-Nites run on Friday and Saturday nights, offering a safe, structured environment for young people aged 10-18. We provide fun activities that promote socialisation and a sense of belonging. Dinner and transportation included.
