PCYC NSW offers a wide variety of gymnastics classes to cater for all types and interests. Our goal is to keep you Active in sport and your community. PCYC is also accredited and affiliated with Gymnastics Australia and Gymnastics NSW, and is the largest provider of Gymnastics in the state, offering a range of gymnastics programs for all ages and abilities, from as young as 18 months, through to adults.

Gymnastics is the perfect foundation sport for all children. It builds a wide range of skills including strength, coordination, flexibility and balance as well as developing motor skills which will assist children in other sports they play. On top of this, gymnastics assists in cognitive development because of the challenge to use the brain and the body at the same time. 

Gymnastics is for everyone, with a range of pathways and programs which develop incredible skills for fitness, performance, competition or just to challenge yourself.


Kindergym (1.5 - 3yrs) - This parent/adult assisted class is designed to give your little one a head start in life! 

Junior gym (3.5 - 5yrs) - Junior gym is a program suitable for preschool and kindergarten aged children, bridging the gap between Kindergym and GymStar. 

GymStar - a recreational program for school age children, covering the basics of gymnastics and movement in a fun and friendly environment. Each term, participants will be assessed on the skills they have learnt and move up through the GymStar levels.

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) - WAG is one of the most well-known forms of gymnastics – it is a competitive sport for girls of all ages comprising of 4 apparatus – beam, bars, floor & vault. 

Men’s Artistic Gymnastics (MAG) - MAG is a traditional competitive program for boys, building strength and control and power. Boys will learn skills and routines on 6 apparatus – Floor, pommel horse, rings, vault, parallel bars and horizontal bar. 

Rhythmic Gymnastics (RG) - Rhythmic Gymnastics is another type of gymnastics you may have seen in the Olympics, combining balance, strength and flexibility along with coordination and musicality to create entertaining and skilful routines. 

Trampoline Gymnastics (TRP) - Trampoline Gymnastics is for both males and females and includes amazing feats of athleticism whilst flipping and twisting through the air! 

Acrobatic Gymnastics (ACR) - A spectacular group sport where athletes perform incredible lifts, throws and balances on their partners hands, feet and shoulders. 

TeamGym (TG) -  A fun and social way showcase a variety of gymnastics skills in a team environment. 

FreeG / Parkour - (Freestyle Gymnastics) and Parkour programs are new and innovative programs that provide opportunities for young people to be creative in the development of new skills, whilst staying fit and active for longer. Classes include running and jumping over obstacles, as well as tricking and flipping skills. 

Performance Gymnastics - a team sport, providing a group of gymnasts the opportunity to train together and create entertaining performances for spectators. 

Fitter for Life - aimed at older adults (55 years+) as a gentle way of staying physically active and engaged. This program will work on maintaining or improving mobility, strength & coordination. It is a fun and social option to get moving and stay moving!

Fun Gym is for children aged 4 to 6 years of age who wish to learn the basics of gymnastics. They will explore different gymnastics apparatus, under the instruction of a coach, experiencing floor, beam, bars, rings, trampolines and foam pits. This class will provide fun and challenge activities and games which improves strength, flexibility and co-ordination. Monday: 3:45pm - 4:45pm Tuesday: 3:45pm - 4:45pm 5:00pm - 6:00pm Thursday: 3:45pm - 4:45pm Friday: 3:45pm - 4:45pm Saturday: 9.00am - 10.00am Foundations This is a 1 ¾ hour recreational class recommended for girls aged 7 – 12 years. They participate in a range of activities developing skills on bars, beam, floor, vault, trampoline, airfloors and foam pits. This program then leads onto the National Foundation Levels program. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Friday 3.45pm - 5:30pm Mr Muscles This is a 1 ¾ hour recreational class recommended for boys aged 6 – 12 years. They participate in a range of activities developing skills on rings, pommel, high bar, P Bars, floor, vault, trampoline, airfloors and foam pits. This classes challenges boys through activities and games to improve strength and flexibility for all sports Thursday: 3:45pm - 5:30pm
