PCYC SHOALHAVEN BOXING

At PCYC Shoalhaven, we host a number of boxing programs for kids, teens, and adults to stay active and try their hand at boxing. Whether you’ve never tried boxing before or you’ve spent some time in the ring, our classes can help you break a sweat and sharpen your skills.

Young boxers (aged 6 to 13 years old) can enrol in our Junior Boxing classes, where they will learn the fundamentals of boxing in a fun and non-competitive environment. As they work on their boxing skills, they’ll also absorb valuable lessons about dedication, hard work, and self-confidence. 

For older kids (aged 14 to 17 years old), our Teen Boxing class is the perfect next step in their boxing journey. This class focuses on proper boxing technique as well as conditioning and strength exercises. From there, boxers aged 16 and up can attend our Amateur Boxing sessions. Here, students will get an introduction to sparring and use bags and pads to gain more experience. 

PCYC Shoalhaven also hosts a Boxing Fundamentals and Boxing Fit class for our members who want to improve their fitness through boxing.

Amateur Boxing is an extremely fulfilling and beneficial experience for individuals with previous experience in boxing. This class is for members who already know boxing fundamentals such as technique. In this activity we focus on intensity, pad work, bag work and sparring. A combination of open training and one on one time with our qualified coaches to improve your boxing experience.
