PCYC NSW is a charity empowering young people to survive, and thrive, in partnership with the Police and the community.
PCYC Port Stephens is split over two locations in Nelson Bay and Raymond Terrace. Our facilities across the venues include a large air-conditioned gym, great gymnastics programs and youth activities all the way up to programs that cater to those in their 80s.
As such, we’re a fully inclusive club that welcomes everyone within the community to come and get active. Come and join in the fun at PCYC Port Stephens.
Activities at PCYC Port Stephens – Raymond Terrace
Kindergym classes are for children aged 18 months to 4 years old, with parental involvement, allowing children to explore their environment, whilst developing coordination and fundamental movement skills. Classes are 45 minutes long.

A recreational gymnastics program designed to provide the key fundamental body movements of gymnastics while developing strength and flexibility in a fun and social environment.
BODYPUMP™ is the ideal workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast.
Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It will burn up to 400 calories**. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically-backed moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own! You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more.
Note: All group classes included in Gym Membership
Ideal for anyone and everyone, BODYBALANCE™is the yoga-based class that will improve your mind, your body and your life. During BODYBALANCE an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Breathing control is a part of all the exercises, and instructors will always provide options for those just getting started. You’ll strengthen your entire body and leave the class feeling calm, centred and happy.
BODYBALANCE is offered as a 45 minute workout.
Step into a BODYCOMBAT workout and you’ll punch and kick your way to fitness, burning up to 570 calories** along the way. This high-energy martial-arts inspired workout is totally non-contact and there are no complex moves to master. A LES MILLS™ instructor will challenge you to up the intensity and motivate you to make the most of every round. You’ll release stress, have a blast and feel like a champ.

Come and take advantage of the largest gym space in Raymond Terrace. Our gym has a large range of cardio, cable machines and free weights. We are a welcoming and friendly gym for all fitness levels
The PCYC Boxing program will focus on a heathy lifestyle through boxing fitness, fun, agility, balance, co-ordination and introduction to fundamentals with an option to pathway to a competitive boxing program from Youth and Open(s)
All participants must have a current PCYC membership to take part in our Boxing classes.
Boxing participants are only allowed the facilities during the allocated class times
Unfortunately, Boxing is not part of Fitness Passport at this time.

Jiu Jitsu at PCYC is all about building confidence, discipline, and practical self‑defence skills in a supportive, community‑focused environment. Our classes blend technique, fitness, and controlled drills to help participants develop strength, coordination, and resilience at their own pace.
