Today is the start of NAIDOC Week 2021.
This year's theme Healing Country is a great reminder of the work we all have ahead of us. It's an important week for PCYC NSW and for all Australians. It's a time to come together to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and to thank them for caring for the land we all live, work and play on.
During NAIDOC Week (4-11 July) we will highlight the stories of just a few of the amazing young Indigenous people who add so much to our organisation with their commitment to culture, country and community. We hope they will inspire you to further explore and respect the culture and values of our Indigenous peoples.
Heal Country, heal our nation.
We will be posting these stories throughout the week on our Facebook page. Read them here
