COVID-19 Updates: No new restrictions, reminder not to travel from Greater Sydney to regional locations | Friday 2 July

NSW has recorded 31 new local coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, 13 of which were in the community during their infectious period.

PCYC NSW would like to encourage everyone in the Greater Sydney Area, including the Blue Mountains, Central Coast, Wollongong and Shellharbour local government areas, to continue following NSW Health guidelines and stay at home unless you have a reasonable excuse.

Stay-at-home order to continue in Greater Sydney over the weekend. Outside of greater Sydney, no new cases were recorded, and our School Holiday programs are still running for another week.

There's still one more week of school holidays and if you are looking for ways to keep your school kids busy, don't forget we are still running active, creative and fun holiday programs in our regional locations across NSW.

Search for your local PCYC club's School Holidays Program and get in touch to book a spot - they are filling up fast!

Please remember to wear your mask when you are inside the club and use the hand sanitiser provided. Young people aged 12 years and under are exempt from wearing masks.

PCYC NSW is committed to ensuring that we play our part to help protect and support our community. We will continue to adhere to key safety measures in line with the latest expert health advice.

We continue to be in regular contact with NSW Health and the NSW State Government regarding the situation and will provide more information on the closure when updates become available. Alternatively you can visit their website for latest announcements on the evolving situation.

For updated information on how your local PCYC club has been affected, please visit your local club’s page on Facebook.

Alternatively, we have set up a direct line for all enquiries. Please email us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and we’ll come back to you as soon as possible.

Take care of yourself and each other this weekend.
