Activities and Programs

What activities do you do?

At PCYC NSW, our mission is to get young people active in sport and in life, and to provide great value, accessible activities for all the communities we serve. We offer a huge range of sports, classes and courses, for all ages and ability levels. Please note that our facilities and activities vary from club to club. What are Active Kids and Creative Kids vouchers? Where can I get them?

PCYC NSW accepts Active and Creative Kids vouchers at all of our 60+ clubs across the state!

The voucher scheme run by the NSW Government is designed to help get kids active and creative. Families receiving Family Tax Benefit can apply for an Active and Creative Kids voucher for each eligible child.

Individual vouchers are valued at $50:

– Are available twice a year

– Can be used for eligible active or creative activities with registered providers

– Must be redeemed before the expiry date on the voucher

Tell me about your Driver Education courses?

PCYC NSW are the largest provider of Driver Education Programs across New South Wales, with courses delivered at more than 60 locations in metropolitan, regional and rural locations across the state. Fully accredited and offering courses in both our Safer Drivers Course, and Traffic Offenders Intervention Program.

Does PCYC offer after school or vacation care for children?

Yes we do! Check out our OOSH Out of School Hours Care programs for further information. We also run School Holiday activities at PCYC clubs across the state, offering a variety of safe, fun and inclusive programs for all ages; from primary to high school. Our structured programs have a selection of sport and creative based activities to ensure we offer something for everyone Learn more about our School Holiday Programs.

Clubs and Membership

Do I have to be a member to attend a PCYC Club?

Yes, you must be a PCYC member to sign up for activities and events at a PCYC club. Your membership fee directly contributes to providing a safe and compliant environment for youth and the community, as well as supporting us in our ongoing mission to get young people active in life and develop their skills, character, and leadership. To become a member, use the Find a Club tool to find your local club and click ‘Become a Member”

How can I find a PCYC in my area?

To locate your closest PCYC club, go to Find a Club and enter your postcode. For specific information on that club’s opening hours, facilities, classes, activities and to become a member, simply visit the club’s website and go to ‘contact us’ to contact the club directly.

How can I find out more about my local club?

To find out your local club’s opening hours, activities, opportunities or more, use the Find a Club tool to locate your nearest club, then visit the club’s website to view their contact details.

Is PCYC a charity?

Yes, PCYC NSW is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC).

How can I enquire about venue, room or court hire at a PCYC Club?

Our 65+ clubs across NSW boast a range of facilities, rooms and courts, many of which are available for private or group hire at very good value rates. Our facilities include multi-purpose halls, meeting rooms, multipurpose courts (basketball, futsal, volleyball, netball, badminton) and more. If you’re interested in booking a space for an event, birthday, meeting, party, or to run your own activities, please go to Find a Club to locate the club you are interested in. Simply visit the club’s website and go to ‘contact us’ to contact the club directly. Availability and venue hire fee may vary.

How can I get involved as a volunteer?

PCYC NSW offers numerous opportunities to volunteer from admin, to marketing support, to being an instructor or coach for activities we run, and much, much more. We sincerely appreciate the generosity of our wonderful volunteers, and whether you can come once, come once a week or come once a month, your support will be helping us to empower and enrich the lives of young people. We can offer work placement opportunities (limited places) for those studying Community Services or similar courses, and we are happy to fit in with your schedule. What is PCYC's Code of Conduct?

Our Code of Conduct establishes clear standards and understanding of the behaviour conduct and duty of care that is expected of PCYC NSW Board members, employees, contractors and volunteers including Club Community Engagement Committee Members and Presidents.
