PCYC COFFS HARBOUR GROUP FITNESS

With a wide selection of gym and fitness classes, PCYC Coffs Harbour is the place to be if you’re trying to stay fit and healthy on the North Coast. From Zumba to pilates to boot camp, our club has plenty of classes to pick from, so you’ll find one (or more) that you love. 

If you’re looking for a balance of cardio and strength training, try our Functional Fitness class. In these sessions, you’ll complete a gym circuit with our qualified personal trainer, exercising various muscle groups to work toward your fitness goals.

For a mat-based workout, drop by one of our Pilates or Yoga classes. At PCYC Coffs harbour, our Pilates sessions are designed to work your core, adding stability and strength. Similarly, our Yoga classes will allow you to work your body and mind simultaneously as you practise gentle movements and mindfulness.

Our club also offers Family Metafit, an exercise class meant for the entire family to try together. With a mix of HIIT techniques and bodyweight exercises, it’s sure to ignite your metabolism and keep your little ones entertained.

Join Pauline Weller to get moving in our Zumba gold and Toning classes! These classes are Tailored for active older adults, who want to focus on muscle conditioning and light weight activity. Zumba® Gold-Toning blends the Zumba® party you love at a slower pace with a redefining total body workout using Zumba® Toning Sticks to shake up those muscles! Low to moderate intensity strength training exercises are essential to prevent a dramatic reduction in muscle mass, muscle strength, atrophy and sarcopenia (loss of skeletal muscle mass). Walk in ready to have a blast and tone up, leave exhilarated and empowered!

What is FitBox? What do you do and is it for me? Fitbox is a cardiovascular workout with classes lasting between 45 mins to one hour. It is based on the training used for boxing so it includes skipping, boxing drills including footwork and abdominal workouts and a lot of upper body work – all focusing on fitness and toning. We work on technique… this is the fun part of class for sure and it really works arms and upper body. The footwork part works your legs and although it can be tricky to get the timing and the technique right you can only get better with practice. We also used punch bags but not for every class … these are also fun and a great stress release tool! You don’t need to bring a partner as Deb will match people of similar skills together or partner with you herself Fitbox is for every level of fitness and there should never be a problem with taking a break or slowing down we are all at different fitness levels. You are in control of your own body after all. What have you got to loose by trying it? You might hate it but you might really love it!
