What is FitBox? What do you do and is it for me? Fitbox is a cardiovascular workout with classes lasting between 45 mins to one hour. It is based on the training used for boxing so it includes skipping, boxing drills including footwork and abdominal workouts and a lot of upper body work – all focusing on fitness and toning. We work on technique… this is the fun part of class for sure and it really works arms and upper body. The footwork part works your legs and although it can be tricky to get the timing and the technique right you can only get better with practice. We also used punch bags but not for every class … these are also fun and a great stress release tool! You don’t need to bring a partner as Deb will match people of similar skills together or partner with you herself Fitbox is for every level of fitness and there should never be a problem with taking a break or slowing down we are all at different fitness levels. You are in control of your own body after all. What have you got to loose by trying it? You might hate it but you might really love it!

A super fun combination of suspension training, resistance bands and light weights, designed to increase strength, muscle tone and balance. Suspension training is considered a form of resistance training involving a system of suspended straps and handles to allow the user to work against their own bodyweight with minimal impact. Resistance band training has been recognised for its effectiveness in fat loss. The harder you work out and the more energy you put in to your resistance band training, the more calories burnt. Lifting light weights and completing multiple repetitions really cranks up your muscular endurance, limits injury, as your body isn't tasked with lifting too heavy and gives you a greater range of motion increasing flexibility as well as greater muscle strength. If you are looking for something different to try book in give it ago.
