PCYC BLACKTOWN ROBOTICS

PCYC NSW offers robotics classes for curious kids who are interested in learning more about the exciting world of robotics. In robotics, children are challenged to use their brain and solve problems using science, math, and creativity.

In a robotics class at PCYC, your child will learn about the essential electrical components that make up a robot, including circuits, wiring, batteries, and motors. Importantly, they will also learn about how each of these parts works together to help the robot function.

Once they understand these fundamental concepts, they will be able to move onto the most exciting part of the class: making their own robots. Your little one will get to take a hands-on approach to robot assembly, putting together electrical components, panels, and screws to make their robot come to life.

At PCYC, all of our robotics classes are taught by trained staff who will ensure that all standard safety protocols are upheld as your child begins to tinker with robots and electrical components.

Not only does robotics encourage your child to problem solve on their own, but it’s also a fantastic opportunity to learn about the value of teamwork. In class, your little one will work with their classmates and help each other out if someone gets stuck.

Founded in 1937, PCYC New South Wales is committed to empowering young people to reach their potential. We help children and teenagers build their character and confidence by offering a variety of youth and personal development programs, as well as sports, recreational, arts, and vocational activities.

We operate more than 60 centres and clubs across New South Wales, helping kids get active in life and emerge as leaders within their communities.
