PCYC NSW is a not-for-profit organisation focusing on empowering young people through personal development programs in partnership with NSW Police Youth and Crime Prevention Command.

PCYC Auburn is a club that feels like home to so many, with the club’s mission being the key focus. The facility has been built on what was the home for Netball NSW for many years – now the home of PCYC Auburn since 2016. PCYC Auburn includes two basketball courts, gymnastics hall, fully equipped gym, dance room, martial arts room, education/multipurpose room and a café.

PCYC Auburn is open for all ages and has programs for as young as 18 months. Offering quality programs including boxing, futsal, basketball, gymnastics (beginner and competitive), school holiday and gym programs. PCYC Auburn is a club that brings the community together through sport and are proud to continue bringing programs that have been missing within the community. The club’s goal is very simple – to shape a better future for the Auburn community.

This parent/adult assisted class is designed to give your little one a head start in life! With a focus on learning through play, each lesson will use colours, sounds and other stimulation to help your child develop their body control and strengthen brain connections through balance, sensory stimulation, tactile experience and coordination exercises. Children will learn to roll, climb, jump and swing all while having fun and socializing with parents and other children.

Junior gym is a program suitable for preschool and kindergarten aged children, bridging the gap between Kindergym and GymStar. Junior Gym offers more structure than the Kindergym program with teaching methods and activities specifically targeted to suit the developmental and cognitive needs of this age group, whilst increasing self-confidence in an independent learning opportunity.

Our FreeG program blends the thrill of parkour with the creativity of freestyle gymnastics, perfect for young adventurers who love to jump, swing, climb and move like real ninjas. In every session, kids build confidence as they learn safe landings, epic obstacle skills, wall tricks and ninja-style movement.

With expert coaches, awesome challenges and a high-energy atmosphere, FreeG is the ultimate place for fearless fun and skill progression. Whether they are climbing, vaulting or mastering their next big trick, kids unleash their inner ninja and discover what their bodies can really do.

Our FreeG classes are split into the following age groups:

Trampoline is for both males and females and includes amazing feats of athleticism whilst flipping and twisting through the air! Athletes start by learning safe jumping and landing techniques and progress through to more advanced skills and combinations including somersaults. Trampoline also includes Double Mini trampoline, a fast and explosive combination of trampoline skills including a run up, landing and Power Tumbling, where athletes flip their way down a track.

Tumbling is a gymnastics discipline that is performed without the assistance of props and down a long sprung track. Tumblers perform series of acrobatic skills and each jump, twist and flip is performed by placing only your hands and feet on the track. Tumblers perform dynamic routines and passes that include flips, rolls, jumps, somersaults, and handsprings. Tumbling is a captivating fusion of athleticism and artistic expression in which participants defy gravity and execute amazing skills with an effortless ease!

Does your child love to climb, swing, jump and flip? Then our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) program is the perfect fit!

Women’s Artistic Gymnastics is a dynamic and exciting discipline that combines strength, flexibility, coordination and artistry. Athletes learn and perform skills across the four WAG apparatus: Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam and Floor. From powerful runs and explosive vaults to elegant beam work, fluid bar routines and expressive floor performances, WAG offers a well-rounded gymnastics experience that builds both athletic ability and confidence.

Gymnasts begin by developing strong foundational skills including safe landings, body shapes, strength and flexibility, before progressing to more advanced skills such as handstands, cartwheels, walkovers, somersaults and tumbling combinations. As they advance, athletes learn to link skills into routines while developing discipline, resilience and a love for movement.

Our WAG classes follow structured skill progressions and provide a supportive environment where gymnasts are encouraged to challenge themselves, set goals and celebrate achievements.

Participation in our WAG program requires an annual Gymnastics NSW Registration ($130).

TeamGym is a fun and social way showcase a variety of gymnastics skills in a team environment. Teams consist of 6-12 athletes who perform 3 routines to music – floor (comprising of dance and acrobatic elements), tumbling (consisting of a series of forwards and backwards skills from rolls and cartwheels to flips), and mini tramp (jumps, turns and somersaults!). Teams are split into divisions based on skill level, catering from the very beginner to the most advanced gymnast.

This is a competition class and as such requires selection to a squad and a commitment for the season. Training days and times vary depending on group selected for, and costs depend on hours trained.
