WELCOME TO YOUR LOCAL CLUB PCYC MORISSET

PCYC NSW is a charity dedicated to empowering young people to survive and thrive through partnerships with the Police and local communities.

Since opening in October 2011, PCYC Morisset has been a vital sport and recreation hub for the Lake Macquarie region, providing a welcoming and inclusive space for people of all ages and backgrounds.

We proudly offer a wide range of quality programs and activities, including Basketball, Futsal, Gymnastics, Fencing, and Pickleball. We also deliver the Safer Drivers Course for L-plate drivers, run exciting School Holiday Programs, and host our UNITES Youth Group every Friday afternoon during school terms.

Whether you’re looking to learn a new skill, stay active, connect with others, or get involved in your community, there’s something for everyone at PCYC Morisset.

Love the game of soccer? Want to try a modified version of the game all year round? Futsal is the sport for you! Futsal is a fun, high-energy court sport, loved by young people and adults all over the state. Futsal is a modified form of soccer that is played indoors on a revised indoor court with five players on each team playing. Teams can have up to 8 players Game times will vary depending on how many teams. Organise a team or join a team. All players must be members.

GymSTAR is our entry level recreational program for school age children, covering the basics of gymnastics and movement in a fun and friendly environment. Children will learn the basics of apparatus such as bars, beam, floor and trampoline to assist in developing skills such as balance, coordination and strength. Each term, participants will be assessed on the skills they have learnt and move up through the GymSTAR levels.

Our GymSTAR classes are $15.50 and require an annual Gymnastics NSW Registration ($75). To enrol, book online or fill out the “Enrolment & Direct Debit Form” and email it to morisset@pcycnsw.org.au, or bring it into the club.

Parkour/Free G (Freestyle Gymnastics) programs are new and innovative programs that provide opportunities for young people to be creative in the development of new skills, whilst staying fit and active for longer. Classes include running and jumping over obstacles, as well as tricking and flipping skills. Athletes get the opportunity to run obstacle courses utilising their new skills and can be a pathway to competitive time trials in Parkour and activities similar to Ninja Warrior.
