The PCYC NSW Fit for Life Program is designed to support young people by promoting physical fitness, nutritional education, and social engagement. The primary goal of the Fit for Life Program is to improve the health and wellbeing of young people aged 10 -16 years, fostering positive lifestyle habits and enhancing overall confidence, communication, and leadership skills. By providing a safe, structured environment with no barriers to participation, the program encourages increased physical fitness, healthy sleep patterns, and prosocial attitudes. It also aims to establish positive relationships between young people and their local police, further promoting community engagement.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
To be eligible for the Fit for Life program, participants must typically be aged between 16 and 18. Applicants should demonstrate a strong interest in gaining employment or furthering their education and career development, with a commitment to fully engage in the 10-week training course. The program is especially suited for young people from disadvantaged or diverse backgrounds who may require additional support in developing essential employability skills. Participants must be available to attend all scheduled training sessions, actively participate in work placements, and engage in related activities. For individuals under the age of 18.
