PCYC CESSNOCK GROUP FITNESS

At PCYC Cessnock, we provide gym facilities and fitness classes to help you get active and hit your health goals. Whether you prefer group training sessions or solo workouts, our club is here to get you moving in an inclusive and supportive environment. 

In addition to our many sports programs, including basketball, gymnastics, and netball, we also host group fitness sessions. Specifically, our Group Fitness Over 55’s class is an excellent way for older adults to keep up with their health. These sessions incorporate low-intensity training to help participants increase their flexibility and strength.

PCYC Cessnock also offers casual use of our gym facilities if you prefer to design your own workout regimen. At our gym, you will find all of the machines and equipment that you need to get in shape, lose weight, or simply break a sweat. 

Our community-based club welcomes people of all ages and fitness levels, so you’re encouraged to drop by even if you have minimal experience in the gym.

Boxfit is a high-intensity cardio workout based on simple boxing techniques using gloves, pad work and bodyweight exercises. Suitable for all levels, this non-contact workout will improve your agility, strength and overall fitness. Boxing gloves are available to borrow, but it is recommended that you have your own.
