At PCYC Moree, we provide martial arts training for our club members who are looking for an activity that challenges their body and mind. In particular, our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes push students to perform physical skills while also outsmarting their opponent.

In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, participants face off one-on-one against their opponent. The ultimate goal of the sport is to take the competitor down to the ground and eventually get them to submit. To do so, practitioners must incorporate elements of self-defence as well as effective combat techniques. 

By taking Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes at PCYC, students will improve the physical skills associated with this martial art, including strength, agility, coordination, and balance. They will also work on their self-discipline, patience, and mental strength. 

Outside of the physical and mental benefits of exercise, our Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu classes also offer a wonderful opportunity for participants to make new friends who have a common interest in martial arts.
