Nations of Origin Seven (7s) rugby league tournament is designed to promote reconciliation within communities and engage Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and non-Aboriginal members in PCYC through the game of rugby league. The concept of the tournament was initiated after consultation with Aboriginal communities across NSW and young people with ways in which to commence reconciliation between young people and provide an avenue for young Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander people to commence the discussion within their families and communities on their cultural identities.

In 2013, the inaugural tournament will be hosted by the Wiradjuri Nation and held at Apex Sporting Oval in Dubbo. The tournament will run over two days, July 10 to 11, with the title of Champion Nation being fought out on the Thursday afternoon.
