PCYC ARMIDALE PHOTOGRAPHY

Just like adults, children need a creative outlet that helps them relieve stress and focus on what they enjoy. By taking a photography class at PCYC NSW, your little photographer will learn the fundamentals of this creative pursuit and discover how to capture artistic shots on their own.

At PCYC, your child will begin their lessons with basic photography concepts, including how to use a camera properly and how to frame their shots. As they become more comfortable behind the lens, they’ll start to learn about more advanced photography topics, such as lighting, editing, and filtering.

Photography classes at PCYC are led by experienced professionals, who will provide friendly instruction and helpful feedback to your child as they begin to take their own photos. Whether your child is interested in shooting scenes of nature, city life, or people, they can explore their interests in more depth with a photography class at PCYC.

Many of our photography students find that taking and editing photos is a relaxing experience for them, allowing them to unwind outside of school and home. Photography class is also an excellent place for your youngster to socialise with other aspiring photographers and make new friends.

Established in 1937, PCYC New South Wales empowers young people to reach their potential through our youth programs and recreational, arts, and sports activities. We also work with NSW Police Youth and Crime Prevention Command to offer police programs that help kids and teenagers build character and become leaders in their communities.

With more than 65 centres and clubs across New South Wales, PCYC provides a safe and fun environment for young people to get active and engage in learning.
